Cloud Migration

Move your infrastructure to the cloud with confidence. We handle every phase — from initial assessment to post-migration optimization — across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.

Why Migrate to the Cloud?

Organizations that migrate to the cloud see an average of 20-40% reduction in infrastructure costs, improved scalability, enhanced disaster recovery, and faster time to market. But migration without a strategy leads to cost overruns and downtime.

At Zedan Consulting, we've been guiding businesses through successful cloud migrations since 2018. Our proven methodology ensures your migration is smooth, secure, and optimized from day one.

Our Migration Approach

01

Discovery & Assessment

We audit your current infrastructure, applications, and dependencies to build a complete migration roadmap. Every workload is categorized and prioritized.

02

Strategy & Planning

We define the right migration strategy for each workload — lift-and-shift, re-platform, re-architecture, or hybrid — based on your business goals and timeline.

03

Execution & Migration

Our team executes the migration with zero or minimal downtime, handling data transfer, application deployment, DNS cutover, and thorough testing at every stage.

04

Optimization & Support

Post-migration, we optimize your cloud environment for cost, performance, and security — then provide ongoing support to ensure long-term success.

Cloud Migration FAQ

Common questions about moving infrastructure to AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

How long does cloud migration typically take?
It depends on workload size and complexity. Small workloads complete in 4–8 weeks, mid-size environments in 3–6 months, and large enterprise migrations in 12 months or more. We deliver migrations in phased waves so business value lands early rather than waiting for a single big-bang cutover.
Will my business experience downtime during migration?
Most workloads migrate with zero or near-zero downtime using database replication, blue-green cutover, and DNS-weighted routing. When a maintenance window is unavoidable, we schedule it inside your existing change windows and minimize the cutover to minutes.
Should I lift-and-shift or re-architect my applications?
Lift-and-shift is the fastest, lowest-risk path — ideal when you need to exit a data center quickly. Re-architecting unlocks cloud-native savings such as serverless and managed services but takes longer. Most real-world migrations use a mix: lift-and-shift first, then modernize the workloads where the ROI is highest.
How much does cloud migration cost?
Migration cost varies with the number, size, and complexity of workloads. Most clients reach net-positive ROI within 12–18 months as cloud savings exceed migration spend. Our free initial assessment includes a total-cost-of-ownership model comparing your current spend to projected cloud spend.
Do you handle database migrations?
Yes. We migrate relational, NoSQL, and data-warehouse workloads to AWS RDS and Aurora, Google Cloud SQL and Spanner, and Azure SQL and Cosmos DB — using AWS Database Migration Service, native replication, or change-data-capture tooling depending on the source and target.
